Sick Tang?

This morning when I turned on my lights my tang was lying sideways on the sand. The day before he seemed just fine, he ate good, swam fine, had no signs of disease and now he sideways, is this normal? <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

The only fish I had in the before was a royal gramma, he died yesterday with no singns of any visible type of disease. I have had my tang for almost 2 weeks now, he has not been scratching at all and does not appear to have any outbreaks. He is very sluggish though, like he doesn't have a lot of energy at all. I was thinking of doing hyposalininty, but I'm not sure if that would help at all. Would this help or should I just do a water change?

My salinity is at 1.024. and as for my test kit I am using the Saltwater Master liquid test kit. As you said in a later post "aged" water, I take water from my main tank right?

Is he/she breathing heavy ? some disease are internal, and would not be visible.
Regardless I would place into Q/H tank, and feed with only medicated flakes for a while.

Is this a regal blue tang,I have seen them turn sideways and look like if there was something wrong with them .The owner told me that was normal behavior for them.Has he moved at all or is he just sitting still.

He is a yellow tang and he is not breathing heavy at all, just laying sideways. Has not moved much at all. He was already in the quarantine tank when he started doing this.

I did a 75% water change and used water from my main tank (witch had good water readings). The day after I did the water change the tang died, why? :(
