sick yellow tang

my yellow tang has brown or black spots on most of it's body. what is it? and what do i do about it. i have a 55 gal. tank with two blue damsel. null

Are the black spots like salt-sized dots...similiar to ick, but only black? If so, then the fish will need to be treated with formalin baths. The disease is called Black Ick or Black Spot Disease. It is commonly seen in yellow tangs, because the yellow tang's color allows the black dots to stick out like a sore thumb.
