So much change happening in the tank.
First off my very shy damsel is finally deciding it's friendly and doesn't hide everytime I entere the room.
The biggest change I believe is with my clowns. The biggest has always been curious but standoff-ish, the smaller black one has been super friendly since day one. He would eat from your hand, greet you at the glass, etc.
Well lately they've been wiggling at each other? And I noticed the big one rubbing it's belly on the pvc pipe (not sure on that... maybe from the ich? I'm lowering their salinity now to start hypo... going slow waiting on the refract. to get here). And since they've been moved to the new tank, my once super sweet little blackie has since turned to jaws!
At first it was just little nips here and there... very soft and easy. Now he's getting a little rough and seems to aim right for between the fingers... Grr. Little Brat!!
Are most peoples clowns little nippers like this? Is it an age thing? Is it becuase his girlfriends in there too now?

They're maturing. Oh what fun it is when they discover they can be little devils. My female used to bite me all the time. Now she's too busy with eggs all the time to bother with me, but for about 6-8 months before they started spawning they both got really aggressive, especially the female.
The shaking/twitching is their mating dance, this will usually go on for quite some time before they successfully spawn. The belly rubbing is probably also just a maturing thing.
