Silicone For Tank Reseal

I can use 100% silicone as long as it doesn't have the bioseal - GE Silicone II?

All Glass Aquariums makes a silicone tank seal that comes in a regualr caulk tube. I resealed a 30gal with it about a year ago, and it is as good as new. just be sure to scrape off all the old seal with a razor blade, and clean the glass joints with rubbing alcohol prior to sealing.

also tape the sides because when you peel the tape off it looks neat and silicone is not every where
