silicone question

I'm building a refugium for my 55 gal out of a 20 long. My LFS is real high on there price for silcone. My question, is the silicone that I bought from Wal Mart going to be o.k.? It is an all purpose silicone and it says it can be used on plumbing. It contains Solanetriol, ethyl, triacetate silanetroil, methyl, triacetate distillates, petroluem, hydrotreated middle and heavy naphtha siloxanes and silicones, di-me hydroxy terminated silica.
Will this be o.k. or should I use something else. Please help if you can.

The stuff I use is a super glue gel called "Lock Tite". The super glue gels have recently be discovered to be reef safe and work much better, IMHO, than silicone.
It comes in big tubes at Home depot.

if the tube says 100% pure silicone, on the back of the tube it should say safe for aquariums, if it doesnt say that then dont use it. but you can get pure silicone from walmart or homedepot thats WAYYY cheaper than the "aquarium sealant" LFS sell, and is the exact same thing.
