simple ich question

my copperband has ich on his fins only (he was stressed when i bought him and he would not eat anything and almost died of starvation b4 I got him to eat- but know he eats like a pig)
yesterday the ich vanished off his fins, so now it is living in my tank
no other fish in the tank have any signs of ich
I have been giving heavy garlic doses recently in their food
is it possible since my copperband is not stressed out any longer and he is eating lots of garlic that he will not contract ich again?

how big of a tank is it. I've heard these are very hard to keep.

its a 90 gallon and he is doing very well now.
they are hard to keep mainly bc of their eating issues- which i have resolved

how did you magane to resove the copperband's eating issues? please share?

Keep giving all fish heavy doses of freshly minced garlic soaked food....and pray. In the meantime, think about setting up a QT just in case garlic and prayers don't work.
