Simple for anyone but me. Will an Anemone move if it is not in a good spot? Does it know what is good for it? Meaning lighting, flow ect.

Yes, it will move around to try and find a spot it likes, it may never stop moving if it doesn't find a good spot that it likes. Usually high light, and medium or moderate flow. I have a BTA, stayed in one place for a year, then I changed up some of my PH's, and it started moving around and killing stuff, it now resides in my refugium under PC's. It is only like 6 to 8" from the light. Oh, I ripped it in half trying to remove from DT, now I have two. My clown was not happy when I took his home away. He has since found a new area to host.

Its usually a key indicator that they are not happy about something. It will search out the best combination of lighting, proper flow and good feeding. Once it has found that spot it should reside there without wanting to move around anymore. Unfortunatly its very difficult to make them stop until they are happy. If you try to block them off and they are not in a spot they think is ideal can deflate and not look healthy.
