Six Line Wrasse disappeared

I just got a six line wrasse yesterday and put him in my tank around 5 o'clock when my tank lights are off...
When the tanks lights came on, he disappeared. I didn't see him once while the lights were on.... How long will it take him to adjust? is he gonna hide in my rock work all the time???

Yes and No. Six-Lines usually take some time to adjust and like to slide sideways under a rock and hang out under there till they get acclimated. Once it does, you MIGHT see if out all the time picking at rock work or your might not.

Very normal for a sixline

Give him 1-3 days to feel comfy and he should be out and about

haha! yea, he was out and about yesterday, although i think he loves the rock work... So much surface area for that little guy to graze on.... He's freakin' cool.

My sixline was always out and about. Congrats on the new fish!
