Six line?

Do you think a six line wrasse would be a good addition to my 30g?
I've heard they eat nuissance flatworms and the such, but they also eat normal flake food and frozen foods. I don't have any flatworms, but I like the fish, seems to have a lot of character in just its looks.
The tanks levels are 0 ammonia, trites, trates, pH is 8.2. It's been cycled and running for about 2 months now with 2 percula clowns and a purple firefish. There are a couple inverts and a couple corals aswell.
Any thoughts?

I have a 6 line in my 37g with 1 perc (bought 2 but one did never replaced him) and 1 fire fish as well. I know I could add more but all has been going great for so long I dont want to spoil it.
Back on suject...LOL...The all eat flake and pettets and frozen as treats and the love it all.
I have plenty of crabs that eat what ever lands on the bottom so nothing goes to waste..
Good luck

Mine eats anything and everything prepared...even goes after and carries around shrimp pellets like a little dog with a bone. Doesn't seem to spend much time picking at the rocks.

I'm in a toss up between a six-line and a royal gramma... it's going to be the final fish in my 30.
What is your opinion? I can't make up my mind. I sortof like the way the 6-line looks over the royal gramma, but both are pretty.

I have a close relative of the sixline-a four line- it is the meanist fish in my tank. I got a neon dottyback and my 4-line beat it up and scared it towards my eel's cave and my eel thought I was feeding him. He also beat up my school of green chromis' and in 1 day they were all dead. Although he seems to leave bigger fish alone, I added a hawkfish and lemonpeel pygmy to my tank and he leaves them alone.

Hmmm, convinced me to go with the royal gramma
.
After doing freshwater cichlids for a long time, I'm trying to avoid aggression.
Thanks!

I have a six-line and I haven't had any problems with him. In fact, he's kinda wimpy. I added him last though so I don't think my other fish were going to take any crap from him.

I am looking into either the a 6-Line or a royal gamma as well. I am leaning towards the royal, but are you active? From what I read on SWF.com they like rock work and might be hidden most of the time. Any input from proud owners of these fish?

I have had 2 six linas in the past ,great fish but mine never ate anything but pods off of the live rock. I just got my third one a few weeks ago and he is only eating the pods. It would be great if he would eat prepaired food.I am getting woried there will not be enough food for the Mandrian:confused:
They have all had great atitudes.

I have both in my 55. My Gramma used to beat on the 6 line at first. Now Theyre ok. My 6 line spends the day in and out of cracks and spaces in my rockwork. Since I got him hes eaten all my mini starfish and put a dent in my pod population. He also eats whatever food I add to the tank.My Gramma has a hole he sleeps in and defends it if anyone gets near it including me.

I have both, they don't mess with each other. I guess its because there is plenty of room for both. I have a 125 gallon.
