i bought one for 20 bucks today. is that a good deal? it was going for 40 cause its was "Hawaiian"... but i asked for the normal price and they said we can do that. it was from *****, thats why they gave it to me for half. it has ick but i can take care of that, i have a copper tank.

oh and btw, as soon as i added it, it stared to eat my isopod infestation. i was hoping for that

You have an isopod infestation in your copper tank? How? Please tell me that you did not add a fish with ich right into the display...especially when you HAVE a quarantine tank.

there is no significant regional price hike for 6 lines and if there was it wouldn't be because they were hawaiian. I believe DFS add $2 and most places zero. there are no regional visual or health advantages either.

lol, I wonder why

as long as you buy unhealthy fish from ***** they'll keep ordering and killing more fish (even if yours was spared). sick fish should be left at the pet store. all buying does is encourage them to continue doing what they are doing (profiting but not putting the proper resources into selling and maintaining saltwater livestock). if your going to buy from them let it be their ignorance to YOUR advantage ($20 gem tang, $30 australian tusk). why buy a problem even if you can fix it? 6 lines are a dime a dozen. $20 is typical pricing for a perfectly healthy sixline (from ANY region).

what Sep said, come again?

well im actually not sure if it has ick, it has one little white dot on its tail. he looks clean all over. before i added him to my DT i gave it a freshwater dip for about 15 mins. then i put in my DT.
hes the only one in there btw.
i know that people shouldn't buy from ***** im against it myself, but i was there looking at power heads and i saw this little guy and it was love at first sight. his colors where so amazing

If the fish has ich and you move him; ich larvae will probably remain in the empty tank for at least 4 weeks. If you have any inverts in that tank; you'll have to let the tank remain fishless for at least that long. Just because you only see one spot, that doesn't mean that's all there is, ich loves the fish's gills. You may get lucky, or you may have much more of a problem than you realize.

still clean.
i think that dot i saw is apart of his coloration cause there is one exact dot on the opposite side of the tail.
