size constraint

we hear people say that some fish seem to grow larger when the tank space is roomier. does the same apply to anemone?
i bought a ritteri that was about 5" in diameter, when it got into my tank it expanded to 7", now it's approaching 10" :thinking:

if theres alot of room the the annemome would probley grow a lot bigger
