size of pipe for a Mag24 return

Ok, I saw a post a while back about the performance of mag pumps gretly increasing when using a certain size of pipe. I get my tank in 2 days so tomorrow I wanted to go get the pipe. I wanted to know what size pipe is best used for a mag24 return. The pipe is going to go from the mag to a T connection then go to both of the returns.

i can not give you an answer, but the people who can will probably need to know how much head pressure that you are pushing to maximize the pipe size, so if you are checking back, waiting for a reply, you might post that so than someone who browses this can answer your question for ya. good luck!
