I am going to set up a wet/dry,refuge what size of a overflow(tank is not drilled) and pump would be the best for a 125gal. tank.I am using a 45gal.tank that I have sitting here is this big enough and do you use bio-balls or something different
Thanks

i've done my fair share of research on overflow boxes, since my 125 isnt drilled either. after weighing out my options, ive decided to drill my tank myself. there's a few people who have recently put up threads about drilling their tanks (drdingo in 'share your aquarium) and kingneptune is planning to drill his tank this week (reef tanks forum). you could get a bit from glass-holes.com. if you decide not to drill it, then i would advise against a cpr overflow box. i've never used one, but i hear that they have a tendency to lose their siphon. as far as return pumps go, i would go for 10x total volume. check out mag's. i have a great link, given to me by venividivici, who drilled his own tank and it sounds like the direction i'll be heading. so if you decide to drill it, pm me and i'll send it to you.
