hey guys any of u skiers or snowboarders? im home recovering from an awful crash the other day. i went off a jump and did a 360, i felt so cocky i tried to do another, BAM! i hit the ground smashed my back. im mostly ok, i decided not to sue Killington lol. but i found out two things, backboards and head braces get old after five minutes and rutland hospitals ER ceilings r pretty. lesson to nobby skiers or snowboarders: no matter how hot that girl is thats skiing w/ u, its no excuse to knowingly put urself in harms way.

I'm a boarder, but I don't do tricks (too scared and being a girl myself I don't need to impress any girls
) Hope you're okay though. I'm jealous that you've even got to go out at all. I can't wait for winter break!!

Skiier here. I am pretty much a beginner though. I went a bunch of times when I was younger and just bought skis and boots last year. Looking forward to going out for the first run of the season on the Friday after Christmas

do silvercreek and beach and sugar have many trails? im in pain and im cooked up at home, yep, its hard having to watch TV, play computer games and eat spaghetti but hey somebody has to do it. Dragon u should come up to Killington or Pico or something, we've got alot of trails open and u can pay $6.50 for a large bucket of cheese fries.

yup i'm defeinately a boarder (or was before i was injured) but i'll get to see how much ability I lost when I go to Telluride Colorado for a week on an all expence paid ski trip for injured soldiers....

when i was just starting i hit a bump that i didnt see and landed hard on my back and neck braced and strechered down the rest of the way was really embarassing .... dont give up though

welcome skiers! boarders, eh u do what u want. ya the funny part about the cheese fries was they wer $4.50 so i guess a lil ketchup cup full of cheese is $2.00, can i get a R-I-P O-F-F, rip off!! madman, u should talk to my dad, hes the pro mountain biker of the family. he faced off against a moose, he lost but its still cool. im sort of his little tag along that crashes into trees, i no its bad but theyre like little magnets...

I wish you a speedy recovery & a quick return to the slopes!!
I am not a snowboarder but my boys are. I was an avid skier in my younger years but no longer care for it.. (It hurts more 20yrs later & feels colder )
You sound much like my son.. Taking the risk first & only admiting it was a bad idea when it hurts...
I have never had the guts to watch my boys on the slopes & I feel bad about that. I am afraid to see them get hurt...
That said, I hope that you are doing well Sharkboy13!
Take care! Birdmom
