Skilter question

Mr. Salty, I know you have a skilter so, I was wondering how do you get rid of the millions of little bubbles. I know they are from the protein skimmer but the only way to get rid of them is to turn the air down so far that the skimmer is useless.

what one do you have???? i have a 250 and never had trouble

I have the 400 and have never had a noticable bubble problem.The filter cartrages should trap them.I dont see how they can get through it. STEVE

Mr.Salty, I watched them come right through the filter cartridges-it's terrible. I'm going to try to raise the water level like you had mentioned before.

Also try backing off on the air valve a little. STEVE

I only run the skimmer at night,and while I'm at work. Problem solved. It also helps with the noise.STEVE
