Skimmer advice

Hi all,
I need to get a skimmer for my 100 gallon tank. The problem is, I don't have room for a hang on the back or an in sump skimmer. I was looking at the Turboflotor 1000. It can be placed outside the sump with only the pump going in the sump. Is the turboflotor any good? Is there another model I could look into? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I do not have any experience with the AquaMedic Turbofloater. However, my recommendation would be an ETSS Super Reef Devil skimmer. They are well-worth the money, and then you could plum this to be next to your sump with just the pump inside the sump.

the reef devil just has a 1" outlet you have to run back to the sump. Build a little box or something to set it right next to sump and then hang the outlet gate valve backover the edge and down...Look em up they have pics on the site...and they are awesome skimmers
