Skimmer and Filter

Whats a good skimmer for the 24 gal jbj nano and how ofter should i change the carbon pack in the nano??

any skimmer would work, just get it a little overated for you're tank size and it will do alot of wonders.. as for the carbon: keep it clean and eventually when you get the skimmer you won't have any use for it. (other than to crystalize your water.).
