The Turboflotor WAS a piece of junk, they now have a new wheel, that can be sent to you, if you have an old model, like I do.......IT'S LIKE A NEW BEAST, PURE, I MEAN PURE BLACK GREEN NASTY SMELLING
) COMING OUT NOW, like I bought a new skimmer the new wheel for the rio 2100 has a thicker center arms with little studs sticking out form it, it made a WORLD of diffrence. My LFS was going to send back 10 of those, 4 his and the rest his customers that were dissapointed, they asked him to hold off and try the wheel EVERYONE KEPT THEIR SKIMMERS...It removes stuff after a berlin turbo has been on a tank..we did it on a rock tank at the store...the berlin stopped producing, put on Turbofloator and in a week was making some nasty stuff.. Only thing I have seen with my eyes better is a Reef Concepts skimmer, the gentlemen that builds them is in NC...Let me tell you about service...I was having problem with his calcium reactor, so I wrote an email on Friday night....checked mail sat morning around 11, he had responded at 7am on a Sat. asking for my phone number to discuss problem, so I emailed him back and gave my times of the week to call and the ok to call collect....FIVE, CHECK THIS FIVE MINUTES LATER MY PHONE RANG....IT WAS FRANK, THE OWNER OF REEF CONCEPTS, AND HE FIXED MY PROBLEM !!!! THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE...I hope no one minds but I will put his site up here....
