Skimmer footprint?

Can someone help me please?
My question is the ASM G2 protein skimmer claims a footprint of 10"x11". Does anyone know if this includes the pump? I am laying out my fuge and need to know. Thanks in advance.

I think for most skimmers it does include the pump. Seems like it would have to if you think about that size for a sec.

Do you run an ASM? What you said is true, it would almost have to include it at that size?

Yes, that includes the pump. I have a G-2 in my sump, and the skimmer section in 11 x 11.5, which leaves just a little bit of room for play. If you're going to add the gate valve modification, you'll want a few inches more in your skimmer section.

No, I'm running some piece of junk old time Venturi driven un-identified piece that my brother gave me. It's years old, I'm upgrading next month probally getting the Coralif SuperSkimmer 220. I've heard good things about the ASM though.
