Skimmer for 90g

So, I will be getting a 90 gallon with sump already to go. It does not come with a skimmer though. It will eventually turn into a reef.
Now, I would prefer to not spend hundreds of dollars on a skimmer, something in the $100-150 range I can deal with, maybe a little more.
What brand do you recommend? How do I know what can handle my tank?

I hear a lot of good things about the Bubble-Magus line of skimmers. For a cheaper skimmer I understand it does a fine job. There is also the Octopus NW-200 and it runs around $200. I don't own either of these so this is all information I have read. I do own an Octopus skimmer, just not the NW-200.
