skimmer help

i came across a protein skimmer that i found "new" in the box at a lfs that was closing near where i live..
the skimmer is a counter-current 18",made by amiracle..it was in the box,,bbut came with no documentation,and was wondering what size pump to use with it...
went to amiracle's site but found no help...
also was wondering if it is worth a damn or not..
i believe that the skimmer is model SRPS-20. or a Ps-2

I looked at amiracle's website too - you're right - not much info there at all
I did find a site of a guy that was using the PS3 22" x 3 skimmer, and recommended using a Hagen 201 powerhead with it. The 201's put out about 125 gph and you can get them for around $15.00 bucks. Ya could try a Hagen or another brand of powerhead, and see how it works. Worst case, you could always use another powerhead.
I know this is not much help. Maybe someone else knows the answer.
