Ok I have narrowed my skimmer choice to 1 of 3 Taking votes for the best one

Its for a 120 Gallon with a 75 gallon fuge
1.ASM G-2 Protein Skimmer w/ Sedra 3500 Pump
2.Octopus Extreme 200
3.MSX 200
If I missed a good sub 300.00 one let me know

Have you researched the Vertex IN-180 Protein Skimmer?
I just bought one for my 135 and it is pretty sweet.
Nice design, with a very quiet pump...has been known to have some pump issues in the earlier models. But, it has been worked out in the more recent models. They produce micro bubbles that are so fine they look like smoke in the chamber...very efficient skimmer. I would HIGHLY recommend this skimmer, if you don't have a preference...this is a great skimmer. Do some research and read the reviews, this skimmer line gets great reviews.
I paid 350, but you can find them for about 280-300, just do some digging.

(yes i skimmed very wet to test my float and it worked perfectly)

I don't use the ASM g2 but i do use an ASM mini g. My lfs uses the bigger ones on their tanks and its what they recommend. I have no complaints either. I love my skimmer.
