Skimmer Help

I really want to add a skimmer to my tank. However, I have no room to add a hang on. Can anyone suggest if there is a skimmer that can go beneath your tank? If there is, who makes them and which one is the best kind?

yes there are in sump or below the tank models i believe berlin makes them.Very nice 300.00 ones are the euro-reefs and the kent nautilus TE

If from your pics you are using a penquin then the prisim might fit back there, but a bit under powered for a 75 or 110 tank. If you have a sump, or wet/dry then you can add a lot of in sump skimmers many of which can also be external under the tank.

I am using dual emperor h/o filtration that is taking up all the room in the back. I am looking for a stand alone under tank that is available. I noticed that SWF.COM is selling a ETSS Evolution 500. Are these any good?

I would write or call Jeff at Lifereef and explain to him what you are trying to do. From what I hear, his skimmers are EXCELLENT. Plus, he makes them and would be able to make any sort of modifications necessary to do what you need to do. His workmanship is truely top notch. I don't think you would be disappointed. I am going with the Kent Nautilus TE with the mag pump in the next few weeks. I plan on putting it in my 20 gal. sump. I have heard nothing but good things about it and figured it would be a good investment for me.

have you looked at the dimensions? I just got one also to put in my 40g breeder tank sump/fuge and with the mag 7 attached to the tubing it can be kinda wide. it will probably take up 40% of your 20g. if you want to add a fuge or something get a bigger sump.
