skimmer in sump/fuge

Just double checking on this because I am not building my sump/fuge, someone else is for me, and I want to make sure that they are doing this the right way. Where is the skimmer supposed to go, before or after the fuge? because I think they put it before the fuge. I may have a deep snad bed in the fuge so I am sure the skimmer should be after that, or does it matter? Just a little concerned they screwed it up. Thanks for the info in advance

I would put it before the fuge so you dont skim off all the pods and such. I also wee them with the skimmer on one end and a fuge on the other,both overflow into a center chamber where the return pump sits. The overflow from your tank is split between the skimmer and the fuge with the majority going to the skimmer side,the best overall design IMO.
