Skimmer making Bubbles

OK I just got my ASM-G2 protien skimmer for my 110 gallon tank. It is blowing so many micro bubbles into my tank that its cloudy. Is there a break in period for this skimmer or is somthing wrong. Every where u read u just plug it in and forget it. Any input would help thanx.

Skimmers do have a break in period and if you go to asmskimmer dot com you could ask specific questions there about the skimmers.....Are you just dumping water directly back into the sump or are you running a tube down into the sump water??????
