Please tell me what I need to do to get rid of the micro bubbles in my tank from my skimmer. I have heard something about the check valve? I have gone so long without micro bubbles now they are back. What am i doing wrong...I have had this skimmer for about 6 months...

Which skimmer is it? They all have different ways to adjust them.
I'm not sure what you mean by a check valve on a skimmer. I can't fathom where or why you'd use one, nor would I think it would reduce microbubble output...now an AIR VALVE might help on the air intake tube to get it dialed-in.

Coralife skimmers are notorious for micro bubbles. The best way to get rid of them is to put a big piece of sponge on the return end. If it is a fairly new one, it should have one already. If not, some of the models had a box on the return. Adding a piece of sponge in it helps as well. The only other reason my old one would do that was if I ever dosed meds or even certain additives would cause it to go crazy until I did a couple water changes. Hope this helps.

Coralife skimmers usually come with a little gray plastic box with some sponge media inside of it. You're supposed to hand that on the tank and then put your skimmers return nozzle over it. The plastic box with the sponge should eliminate the microbubbles all together. Adjusting your air valve a little bit may also help, but not much.
