I had a Seaclone way way back. Always had issues getting it dialed in correctly.
Sounds like you need to dial down the air intake a little. Actually I replaced the crumby air control that comes with unit with a adjustable airline valve, worked better that way.
My guess on what happened is you had a buildup where the air meets the water in that cone shaped piece and when you shut off the skimmer to change your water it dissolved so when you turned it back on it is drawing more air now.

hmmm.. i thought if i didnt have a solid stream in that tube comming from the pump into the skimmer it wasnt working properly..and if i turn the air down that tube doesnt have a solid flow..know what i mean?

I did a water change today with the same kind of skimmer, i have mine dialed in perfect as long as keep the tank always full,it pulls lots of junk out, and had the micro bubbles at first what i do after starting the skimmer is bend the air tube to clear out any huge bubble in the intake line, because i dont want to move my adjustment, just wend it so NO air is taken in to the clear air tube line then unbend it, i get huge amounts of micro bubbles for about a 3 hours then they go away.

so do i just keep my skimmer goin with the micro bubbles?? are they harming anything? and they should go away?...its just weird..its never done that before..

You need some amount of bubbles in the water column of the skimmer for it to remove anything from the water.
If you get an adjustable airline valve like I said you will be able to control the air better. There are a bunch of other mads you can do with that skimmer if you want to but some are a little difficult.

My PS gets more microbubbles when the air intake is dirty. I pop off the air adjuster and submerge the end of the airline in RO water for about 15 seconds(with the pump running). Cleans out the salt creep.

the sea clone has an adjustable air intake that comes with it, its just a pain in the a** to get it right, yeah i just let the bubbles fly and in a few hours they go away, its 3:50PM right now i did the water change at 11:00AM the smorning after the change the whole tank was filled with bubbles and they just slowly go away till there are none.
