skimmer not working

I have a berlin skimmer that does not seem to be working well. I have cleaned out the tubes and run hot water through it, but it still does not bubble correctly. I can look inside and see the bubbles, but they rarely make it to the top and flow over. Any suggestions??

Can you slow the flow of water going through it?? This will provide longer contact time.You should also try to increase the ammount of bubbles in the skimmer.If all else fails,hook up an air pump with a wooden bubbler block in the bottom of the skimmer.
