skimmer on a 12 gal aquapod ?

i have a 12 gal aquapod and was wondering if a skimmer is necessary for this, i was looking at the Current Fission Nano Skimmer, found 1 cheep $20.00.
are they worth it ?

dont buy that piece of crap. trust me, its not a good skimmer.and I really dont think you need a skimmer in such a small tank, if you do your regular water changes. I had that skimmer and it was worthless. The collection cup was so small that it really coudlnt collect anything but air.

thanks for the advice, i was thinking the same thing..! right now i do a water change every wee....couple gallons.
just curious of other thoughts.
