Skimmer Placement

Hello everyone. I need help deciding on the Coralife Needle Wheel Skimmer. Would buying the largest model (which wouldnt fit in my wet/dry) and use as a hang on be the smartest move? Or should I buy two of the smaller models, that are rated for 65 gallons each and place one of them in the wet/dry and one as a hang on? I already have a seaclone-150 as a hangon but no matter how much I adjust the venturi I cant get the stupid thing to skim. Or my final solution, put the sea-clone 150 in the wet/dry and get the largest Coralife Needle Wheel Skimmer for using as a hang on.
Thanks,
-Peter

you may need to clean the pump or the tubing itself. I had the same problem, took it to the lfs and they put it in a muriatic acid solution. 10 minutes later, brand new

Thanks for the input.
So what do you guys think? Two smaller skimmers, one in the wet/dry and one as a hang on? Or just the one really large skimmer to use as a hang on due to being to big to fit in the wet/dry?

I would go with the really big one. thats just preference though. only one to maintain, twice the equipment means twice as much potential for something to fail.... (gee that sounds really negative.) I think in the long run you'll get sick of having to maintain both and wish you only had one to dump and wash out.
