I have a Nanowave 9 it came with a air driven skimmer........ the guy i bought it from told me he was having a problem with the skimmer so he gave me a valve to put on the air in take....
the problem is if I close the air off to much I get bubbles coming from where the water goes in from the tank and then air bubbles are all over my tank.... if I open it up the bubbles come from the water thats coming from the filter............
wondering if anyone on here has had the same problem.. can't seem to get a happy medium

Noticed that you haven't gotten an hits so I'll take a stab at it. Most filters have a break in period from anywhere from 1-3 weeks. If you are past this period and still having problems with microbubbles you can try some pre-filter material over where the output of the skimmer is or you could get a micro-filter sock that is used to hold loose carbon and put it over the entire skimmer or just the output.
Hope something in that ramble clicks on the light-bulb!
