I have recently acquired a sealife protein skimmer for my 75 gal tank. For over 2 months now it has been perfect. Just recently it has got to where it will fill up with water quite quickly. Do you think I just need to clean it real good or is there an equipment malfunction. Before i had the problem, all I would get is the dry foam. Now, I can completely fill up the collection cup with dirty water in 10 minutes. It is spuratic though because I can empty the cup and it will do good for 3 days then it will start again filling up quickly.
