Skimmer probs

So my skimmer is still working but its bot producing as much foam as before ive cleaned the unit out thoroughly... prob the pumps going bad huh well common sense leads me down that path, im getting foam its just not as wet and bubbly as b4 thanks for any help

It would help to report which skimmer you have-somebody here is bound to have one and can give you specific advice.
generally speaking, do you have an air bleed or water intake adjustment on your skimmer? any other changes to your tank such as running carbon? Does the pump have a filter on its intake that might need cleaning? They can also get algae and gunk on the impellers that can reduce pumping action (unlikely IMHO). Also, thoroughly cleaning a skimmer can affect its foam production for awhile.
