Skimmer Q

I bought a new hang on the back skimmer the other day from the internet. I thought it was a self contained skimmer meaning that it did not have to have a power head, but I was wrong. I have a power head that came with deal from internet. But I don't like the way that it looks in my tank. It hangs down to far it almost hits my LR.
Is there a skimmer out there that is completey self contained? That all i have to do is plug it in.

I use a Prizim hang on skimmer by Red Sea. completely self contained and works great.

You might also consider looking at an excalibur skimmer. There hang on the tank model comes with an overflow box that hides the pump and return. In my opinion and experience a much better skimmer. You could also look into getting a cpr bakpak. The only downside is that they don't come with the box you have to buy them seperately. The pump on either of these, only go a few inches into the tank, if you decide to not use the box.
