Skimmer question

I have a 150 high and I live in a duplex home so I ran the pipping through the wall and floor into my garage where I have a 100 gallon sump. Before making the changes I had a small sump under my tank and I used a 150 gallon skimmer and it worked great. Now my skimmer is in a 100 gallon sump that is usually about 1/2 full making my tank an overall 250 gallon in a sense. Should I upgrade my skimmer to a larger one? I have 5 overflows and when they drain into my sump it causes alot of bubbles which seems to affect the way my skimmer is working. What I mean is now my skimmer makes big bubbles instead of the way it used to make a foam. Also I am wondering how much current is to much current. I am pushing through about 6000 gph as of right now and I worry that the pressure may be a bit extreme for the fish, the corals look great and seem to like it and there are some no wakes zones in the tank, but when I feed the fish they do have to fight the current. I can turn it down if I need to or turn it up if I can, I'm just not sure what a good point is. The biggest problem I am having with it is that it sometimes blows a rock down, I am told to super glu the rock and tried it but I can never get the glu to hold, even with my corals it doesnt seem to hold them. Whats the best Gel Glue to use? Thank you all for your help, it's a real nice forum with a great group of people by the looks of things.
