I tried searching the site but I couldn't find the thread I was looking for. There was one back with a question on how long you run a skimmer.
I would appreciate any input on this. I know some run one all of the time and others only when needed. Those who run one periodically, how often do you run it? I have a Seaclone that hangs on the tank. I emptied about three gallons of water out of the tank when the power head slipped off the tubing. The pump landed on a LR near the surface and it shot water out of the tank. I guess the suction cups are shot. Anyway, I would rather not put it back on if possible and run it when needed. The tank is more quiet without it.
