Skimmer question

I have a 125 gallon tank. Can anyone recommend a good quality cheap skimmer? I'd like the price to be right around $100. I don't want to skimp on the skimmer but with all the other equipment I need (lighting) I'm running out of money quick. Thanks for your advice.

I have never seen or heard of a good skimmer for any size tank for 100 bucks.For your tank you can expect to spen at least 200.Mine cost $350...Start saving $$$$$

when you get above 70 gal things start to get expensive. just remove the word "CHeap" from your vocabulary. it is nolonger necessary to think like that. say instead "Man i'm glad it only cost 500

IMO, especially with skimmers and lightin, i haveto agree with von rhavin here, especially since i cna almost guarentee you that if you spend 100 or 150 on a skimmer for that tank(unless you build it or buy it used and we have a guy localy that builds them for 170 to 200$) that you will later be saying i wish i'd have put that other 150 bucks towards this other one, i'd have it now, and it would not have cost me twice
i vote for the berlin turbo or an aqua c at least, one other note, pay the extra if it is available with a rio pump and upgrade the pump too, the extra 5o or so bucks you will be gald you spent on the pump
