Skimmer questions again

Ok, I think I am getting closer to choosing a HOT skimmer for my 120 gallon.
Here are 4 different skimmers and the prices I can get them at. I am leaning towards #1 or #2.
Any comments on price or the skimmer would be greatly appreciated.
1.Aqua C Remora with Mag Drive 3 pump $349 Can $259 US
2.Berlin Turbo $399 Can $296 US
3.Red Prizm Pro Deluxe $299Can $222 US
(I removed #4 as it is unsuitable for 120 gal)

I don't know anything about #2 but I have #1 and I like it a lot. I don't think #4 would be enough as its only rated up to a 75 gallon. If you look around you can find #1 for closer to $225 US.

The problem is, I can't order from alot of the US websites because they won't ship to Canada. This one is found on a website that is Canadian. I will of course look for a better price if there is one to be had.

with the given choices the remora 'pro' would be the better of them. if you have a sump then i'd suggest a Euro-Reef. the 5-3 cost $250 US and is conciderably more of a skimmer then the remora pro.

I don't have a sump...and am not planning on getting one in the near future...I have much more research to do on how they work. I think the Aqua C Remora is taking a strong lead.

I read somwhere that alot of people are having problems with their prizms. One major problem was the skimmer draining their tank and spilling water on the floor.:scared:

That can't be a good thing. I will remember that when making my selection.
I just want to be sure before spending that amount of money that I am getting the best one for my tank.
