Skimmer Suggestions, Please!

I'm looking for a skimmer in the $150 to $175 range that will fit in a 12x9", 10g in sump for a 29g coral reef tank. Suggestions please!
I've looked at ASM, but were told they are crap.
I've looked at Octopus skimmers, but they start at $220.
I've looked at Eshopps, but no one has commented.
I've looked at EuroReef, but they are EXPENSIVE
I've looked at Coralife, but they have bad reviews
I've looked at Remora, but I've never had success with them in the past.
I just need a decent skimmer, a little help, please?

Hahahaha.....The little ASM are skimming monsters IMHO.....Their larger models not quite fond of personally.....You should be able to find a small; used EuroReef cheap. They aren't expensive anymore.....They are kinda yesterdays news, so not fetching top dollar.....Octopus worth the cash.....

Good monsters or bad monsters? Gotta ask!
Octopus is worth the extra $$? Hmm, I might have to look into it after all.
I'm really liking this Eshopps PSK100 skimmer and for $119 it doesn't look like it's doing such a bad job...

I have to agree....Octopus is worth the cheddar!!!! I bought one, the thing was so efficient.....pulling out stuff so fast that I actually called the company because I thought something was wrong! I had so much residual organic in my tank from my previous underpowered skimmer....I was getting cup after cup of gunk for 3 days. Now I've had it almost 2 years and it is still running perfect. You can spend 2 hundo now on the Octopus, or spend around a hundo now, and have to spend it 3 more times on other skimmers.......or you can just cut to the chase and get an Octopus now!

I used an ASM Mini G for a while. It did a decent job of pulling crap out of the water, but I had a couple of issues with it. It would sometimes get a large air bubble in the pump which would keep it from pumping. It was annoying to get it out since the pump is lodged into the bottom of the skimmer. I also had microbubble issues with it for some reason.

Don't you just hate it when the OP doesn't show up for his own thread?
Thanks Snake, I actually did go with the Tunze Nano. Small footprint and it has gotten great reviews, and many people say there is very little microbubbles, which is a major plus to me. Thanks all for the help!
