Skimmer Suggestions?

I know this topic is on here alot but I'll ask again. I have a 55 gal fowlr currently with a airstone type Berlin skimmer. I have been told this would eventually be to small for my tank(it was in a 30 gal before now) If that is the case could you all please give me some suggestions on a new one. I don't really want to spend a ton of money. I will add I think this tank will stay a fowlr for good maybe an amenome or two some day but thats it.

Under $100, Prizm will work for up to 75gal, over $100 Remora Pro---good quality that can be used as you get a bigger tank.

I am pretty much in the same boat... setting up a 55 gallon FOWLR also (relocating from another tank - long story...) I am planning on using 55# of LR, powerheads and a skimmer only. I need a hang-on as I'm not planning to have a sump.
I've posted questions on other boards and the 2 models that keep getting recommended to me are the CPR Bak Pak and the Aqua C Remora Pro. I'm leaning toward the Remora Pro.

I use and would recommend the cpr bacpac 2r on my 55 reef
