Skimmer thoughts?

I have a 75 gallon tank that has been up for a couple of months. I have about 75 lbs. of live rock, and added my first two fish last week (a pair of perc clowns) as well as about half a dozen snails and hermit crabs. I plan on phasing in a number of additional fish, as well as corals and inverts over time.
I'm considering purchasing a HOB skimmer and would like to hear anyone's thoughts on which brand/model to go with. I've read a variety of older threads on here on the subject, and it seems opinions vary over time. Any new suggestions I should keep in mind?
Thanks!

The AquaC Remora is one of the better HOB skimmers on the market. The CPR Bak Pak is okay as well.

I have a Excalibur HV-1 on my 55gal and I'm very happy with how its working.
I've heard lots of good things about the aqua C remora's too.

I have the SeaClone 100. While I would not recommend it, it does the job as long as I do weekly maintenance aside from emptying the collection cup.
IMO there's few better ways to spend $$ on a tank other than adding a GOOD skimmer, lighting, and lotsa LR.

I have a HOB skimmer from Marine Technical Concepts. Easy to maintain and works great. Its up there in price with the AquaC. But worth it.

My tank is only 37 gal, but my Odyssea pro pack has really treated me well. Not sure what the gallon rating would be though...I think it's pretty borderline with my tank as far as efficiency.

I've been told by numerous others about Aqua C Remora. Going to take a look at one when the local LFS ships one in. Going to order it online after seeing it. It's cheaper by like $150 to order online....
