Skimmer

I am having a problem with my skimmer and I'm hoping someone can help.For some reason,its not sucking any air,microbubbles.Anyone know what could cause this?Any help is SOOO appriciated!!

Well gobylover,
Could be a lot of things.
What type skimmer is it ?
Venturi ?
Airstone ?
If venturi type - If the powerhead is running and no bubbles - then most likely a clogged venturi inlet tube ( hose )
If airstone - probably time to get a new stone - could be clogged as well.
My guess - Something is CLOGGED UP !

Sorry to get back so late!Its a venturi.

Are you using a RIO pump.They have problems with the air induction accesory not working.

Your venturi is probably clogged as mentioned. Take the venturi out and flush the skimmer and pump.
