I have a 55 gal.setup and just added a long nose butterfly, coral beauty,mandarin,cleaner wrasse,2hernit crabs,and 2 turbo snals oh yeh a choc-chip starfish. My qwestion is how long do i have to get a protin skimmer before thay all die?
i have like 50 lbs of live rock and 2 anemones too. i have a skillter filter but i dont think it works too good

With that many fish in there,you really should already have one.The excess disalved waste will build up quickly,and your nitrates will also start to rise without one.I hope you didn't add them all at one time...That could cause the bio system to go out of balance and cause a recycle in your tank.Watch your ammonia,and nitrItes closley...
