well today I just cleaned my skimmer for the first time ,man it was packed full of crap.this is the first tank ive ever used a skimmer on I see why so many of you say to use one its only been runing for 17days and i can say im very glad I got it, its nice to know all that crap is not in my water. so for all you who said yes to the skimmer

and to anyone who dose not use one maybe its time to get one
