Skunk Clown with ick

I bought a skunk clown from my local store.
It looked fine at the store, i inspected it close. The next day it was covered in white spots, but today all of them were gone.Somebody please explain. Its in my 20 gal reef so i dont think i can treat it . Should i just catch it and give it back.
And i am still open to any thoughts on my grapevine bubblr algea problem.

If you don't know what is going on I would quarintine it to make sure. Start feeding garlic as a precaution.
