sleeping clown

Is it normal for my clown fish to sleep on my sand bed?This morning I saw him sleeping on the sand and thought he was dead.When i went to remove him,he woke up and swam away.Is this normal??? :help:

was he laying on his side or straight up? My perc sleeps on the sand be and basically wedges himself up between the rock and the glass of the tank.

same here, mine lean up against something. I did the same thing when I first saw mine sleep. They lean up against something because they don't have anything to host.
