i have a 40 gallon reef tank that has been established for about 3.5 months. i have some slime (alot) in the back of my tank and have a rated up to 30 gallon ph dedicated to the back where the slime is. i have one rated to 55 for the front circulation. well,my question is that i was told by my lfs (very knowlege able and reliable) that i could stir up/move around the
very top layer where itis without releasing any of the the bad things in the sand bed that would cause ammonia and nitrite.is this true?
