Slime on live rock?

I have an established 55gal. marine tank with about 37 pounds of live rock which has been in the tank for about 5 months. Several pieces of the rock has developed patches of a clear-white slime coating..does anyone else have this?

I get it every once in a while. It can be another type of algae, an anemone, or even coral.
you now have things growing on your rock that constitute a marine environment. Keep a close eye out for trouble but expect the unexpected!
