My volitan is getting some slim between his fins. Its clear and seems to fall off him and float around. This started today. Any ideas? Water is alll good.

This is absolutely normal.
They will shed their slime coat from time to time. If it is on a constant basis, then you might have a problem.

I posted here since its a some what an aggressive fish. Didnt mean to get any unpleasant comments. Sorry for any inconvience to anyone.

As stated above, this process is completely normal and it will shed its slime coat from time to time. It usually does it frquently if it is stressed, but even then it is usually okay. Don't worry about it. HTH and good luck.
