Slimy red alge

I have some slimy red alge growing in my tank . I was wondering how to get rid of it, which chemical will do the job?

Your fish store should carry a producd called CHEMI-CLEAN This product will get rid of RED SLIME and is REEF SAFE. I have used it and know of one other erson that used it and she told me about it, and it will work. Again it is REEF SAFE.

Also check out Phosban. Chemi-clean worked out great for me too but i just got introduced to Phosban to reduce phosphate level. Just add in filter bag and put in the sump that will absorb all the phosphate without leaking any other chemical back in the tank.
